The dalnmar (continent) of My-Thov is the biggest on Maldene by far, and doesn’t do anything in half-measures. The Coiled Dragon of the Greater Arcana represents restrained power, and what better visual of power than the sight of the highest mountains on Maldene, the mountains of the dalnmar (that’s ‘continent’ for you Earthers) of Frecaloth. In a world where there are ranges with mountains upwards of 20,000 to 40,000 or more in …

The weather on a world as large as Maldene, with three moons no less, can be a bit tricky, to say the least, and deserves to qualify as a character in itself. So, let’s start these highlights with something that’s already been mentioned: the infamous Funnel Storm. Imagine all the worst features of a …

As this card indicates, the characters in our story have a long journey indeed, Maldene being a big place and all, not to mention everything in their way. So let’s take a quick look at some of those places that the Long Road will be taking them through. The Harbor of the World is …

There is a particular symbol you may have found squirreled away on my site, or perhaps crammed onto the edge of one of my graphics or at the end of the Maldene book trailer. You’ll even see it etched into that weird map found at the end of the first Maldene novel. You’ll find it …

Just my official announcement that I have now widely released (or as widely as my small reach can manage) my new official book trailer for ‘Cyberdawn: Beginnings’, the first novel in the 5-book series of what might be the most paranoid cyberpunk/supernatural thrill ride around. View it here: https://youtu.be/dXAqsicm0vs

On occasion you find something, a little clue, in the world of Maldene, that has been staring right in the face of its citizens for ages on end and completely missed. Something– or someone– thought of as mere myth, a fictional archetype that is perhaps not so fictional. Take the Tarot card “The Mystic” as …

Okay, it’s back to some more Maldene Tarot card images, though I do have images of other characters as well as of other worlds in the Maldene star system. Like Earth Tarot, Maldene’s has different suits, and court cards, though the arrangement is different. For Maldene it’s three suits– Gai (swords), Naib (orbs), and Trib …

Okay, so now for a bit more about some of the characters of “Cyberdawn: Beginnings”. First off, know that this novel is definitelty cross-genre, which I love doing. You will see elements of fantasy and magic, supernatural creatures that are the reason why the world needs to develop the first generation of cyber-weaponry; for without …
